Glenn Calder

Glenn Calder has over 20 years of experience in the wealth management industry, commencing after a 10-year career in education. Glenn became the founding CEO of Viridian Financial Group in 2015 when he and a group of like-minded, culturally aligned advisers created a business that put client outcomes at the centre of every decision and champions access to financial advice for all Australians.

Glenn‘s background in education underpins his approach to financial services, which is focused on communication, empathy and understanding to build trusted relationships.

Glenn holds a Bachelor of Education from Melbourne University and an MBA from Deakin. Alongside his role as at Viridian he is on the board of the Financial Advice Associate Australia and is a member of The Principals’ Community Advisory Council.

Kasia Gascoigne

Kasia Gascoigne is the Chief Risk Officer of Viridian Financial group. She is leading our risk and compliance functions.  She is passionate about risk and compliance being operational, easy to understand and a lever to support the business.

Her key responsibility is to support Viridian in building a more risk aware culture and managing it’s key risk and regulatory obligations that may create exposure in strategic, operational, reputational or compliance areas.

Prior to joining Viridian, Kasia graduated with a bachelor degree in Economics (with a minor in Law) and Arts (majoring in Economic History).  She has held a number of roles in compliance and risk across organisations such as ACCC, ASIC, NAB & MLC, AustralianSuper, and Arthur J Gallagher.

Michael Ehrentraut

Michael Ehrentraut is the Chief Sustainability & Operations Officer & Co-Founder of Viridian Financial Group. He has over 30 years of experience in the banking and finance industry.

He has led large teams across various market leading companies such as Barclays, Westpac, ANZ, and Medibank.

Michael holds a Bachelor’s degree with majors in Economics and Organisational Psychology, a Diploma in Financial Planning, a Graduate Diploma in Banking, and Master’s in Business Administration.

Abigail Barnard

Abigail Barnard is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Viridian Financial Group. She leads Viridian’s finance function, focusing on capital management, business reporting and transaction finance.

She has extensive experience in a range of complex audit structures and accounting matters.

Abigail holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) and Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting.

Raamy Shahien

Raamy Shahien is the CEO of Viridian Financial Group. He is responsible for executing the business strategy and driving operational excellence across the group. He began his career with Westpac in 2005, becoming a partner in 2010.

His business became the largest practice nationally, providing advice to ultra high-net-worth families in Melbourne.

Raamy holds a Bachelor of Law and Finance, and a Diploma in Finance Planning.

Piers Bolger

Piers is the Chief Investment Officer of Infinity Asset Management, the investment management arm of Viridian Financial Group. He has overarching responsibility for Infinity’s investment offering and serves as lead Portfolio Manager for its multi-asset investment solutions. He is also responsible for Infinity’s top-down macroeconomic research and the provision of financial market insights to its investor base.

Prior to joining Infinity, Piers was Head of Diversified Portfolio Management at BT Investment Solutions, where he managed asset allocation and portfolio management across a range of diversified equity and multi-sector investment solutions.

Before BT, he was Head of Research & Investments in the wholesale business of UBS Global Asset Management in Australia, and co-Portfolio Manager for a quantitative-based equity income strategy.

Piers currently serves on several not-for-profit boards and charitable trusts.

Education: Master of Applied Finance (MAppFin), Securities Institute of Australia; Postgraduate Applied Finance & Investment, Macquarie University; BA and BCom, University of Melbourne.
