The portfolio provides a diverse exposure to underlying investments and strategies across a broad range of asset classes and is actively managed within allowable ranges. The long-term, strategic asset allocation aims to have approximately 68.5% exposure to growth assets (shares, listed property, infrastructure) and approximately 31.5% exposure to defensive assets (cash and fixed interest). The portfolio allocates to index and active managers with a bias to index managers.
